Art for Period Homes
Hand-painted oil painting reproductions chosen and sized for period properties, with bespoke dimensions and framing for high ceilings and panelled walls.
Paintings chosen and sized for houses with their own history.
Scale matters more in an old room
High ceilings, chimney breasts and panelled walls rarely suit a standard canvas size. Any painting can be produced at bespoke dimensions, quoted individually, so it sits properly in the space.
Painted in oils, as the original was
Every painting is reproduced by hand in oils on linen canvas by an artist who specialises in that style. Our artists have graduated from art colleges and the majority have more than fifteen years of professional experience.
Framing to suit the room
A fully framed artwork is quoted individually and covers the painting, the frame and delivery. Tell us the style and period of the room and we will send options.
Paintings that suit an older room
A few from the collection that tend to work in period interiors. Any of them can be painted at the size your wall needs.
Other ways into the collection
Browse by artist, by gallery or museum, or by art movement. If you remember where you saw a painting but not what it was called, start from the gallery.
Tell us about the room
Measurements and a photograph of the wall are usually enough for us to suggest a size. Call +44 (0)20 8354 1818 or send an enquiry.
